PEER EXECUTIVE BOARDS… THE BEGINNING OF A JOURNEY OF EXCELLENCE!

In 1968, I graduated high school in Van Nuys, California and began a 50 year professional career that has led to the launching of Peer Executive Boards.

Along the way I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University, a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of Southern California (USC), and on 1982 formed a successful crises management strategic advisory consulting firm specializing in problem solving and strategic decision-making for public agencies, private businesses and not-for-profit organizations… and then retired in 2012.

Along that journey, I was trained in the tools and techniques of transformation personal growth having experienced Werner Erhard’s EST, then John Hanley’s Lifespring, then Landmark Forum and then The ManKind Project – New Warrior Training Adventure, all self-enlightenment personal growth programs.  Active participation turned into leadership trainer and facilitator, balancing the business world with the personal world… balancing head, heart and gut.

In 2013, I joined the highly respected ranks of Chair/Facilitator/Speaker in Vistage Worldwide, the world’s leading company in peer private advisory boards with the mission of “Improving the effectiveness and enhancing the lives of CEOs and key executives.”  Today, working with over 65 executives and business leaders, I Chair and facilitate four Vistage peer private advisory boards and am influencing the success of businesses, individuals and families.

Built on the foundational core values of Trust, Accountability, Challenge, Empowerment and Value, today through Peer Executive Boards there is the beginning of a new chapter in me giving back to others what I have gained over the past 50 years.  It is about furthering our mission of “Empowering others to be better than they ever thought they could be through the intimacy of coaching, mentoring, and challenge.”

Combining the tools and values of Vistage Worldwide with my private practice coaching company, The Coaching Symposium, and incorporating the training and certifications that I carry associated with personality and profile tools, such as Everything DiSC, The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, Predictive Index, and PXT Select™, Peer Executive Boards is a valued resource of tools and techniques; coaches, mentors and advisors; and processes and procedures that enables businesses and executives to be more successful, leaders to be more effective, and individuals to have more fulfilled and balanced lives and careers.

The average person in America lives 85 years, 1,020 months, 4,420 weeks, 31,025 days, 744,600 hours, 44,676,000 minutes and 2,680,560,000 seconds… plus or minus!  As each second ticks off, that is one more second that we have lost in attaining our goals, our visions, our successes.  The remaining seconds are opportunities to grow, expand our possibilities, and take on the challenges to transform our lives… one second at a time!
